WELCOME TO YOUR PUBLIC ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS!
Before accessing the Student Registration Form below, please take a moment to review this information.
New students are always welcome at KPR schools. Registration is taking place NOW at your public schools for Junior and Senior Kindergarten programs starting in September 2013. Kindergarten is an exciting time, when children learn through structured play. The Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board’s Kindergarten programs offer excellent beginnings for your child’s academic, social, emotional and language development. KPR schools help your children to succeed, whether they are in regular Kindergarten programs; French Immersion starting in Senior Kindergarten; or the new full-day, every-day Kindergarten early learning program, to be available in the majority of KPR elementary schools for the 2013-14 school year.
You may register your child to start school in September 2013 if:
• Junior Kindergarten – your child is four years of age by December 31, 2013
• Senior Kindergarten – your child is five years of age by December 31, 2013
Please bring a birth certificate or other proof of age, proof of address, and current immunization record when registering your child. You may print off and complete the registration form below, and bring it with you to the school. Registration forms are also available at each school. Since registration times vary, please contact your local school for details.

First Nation, Métis, & Inuit Education Policy Framework & Voluntary Self-Identification Program
Within our student registration form, you will see a section providing an opportunity for a student or a family with aboriginal ancestry to voluntarily participate in our self-identification program. This program is part of our commitment to implementing the Ontario Ministry of Education’s First Nation, Métis, and Inuit Education Policy Framework.
We will be working to support success for aboriginal learners by increasing awareness of the learning styles of aboriginal students, and increasing all staff and students' understanding of First Nation, Métis, and Inuit cultures, histories, and perspectives.
If you have further questions regarding the voluntary self-identification component of our registration, please feel free to contact:
